Default available Time Zone and Region (Locale) for SharePoint online

Today I am writing about by default available Time Zone and Region (Locale) for SharePoint online.
As we know globally we have multiple time zone and standard timings as well. For each time zone we have option on Office 365 or any other SharePoint Application to change time zone, region, locale, Time format etc.
It’s quite difficult to remember all those time zone so what I have done here copied all time zone and region locale to excel sheet with valued ID.
Below are the same:
  • Time Zone: it’s specify standard time zone like for India we use as IST. But for globally called as UTC (Universal Time Coordinated)

How to bulk create projects in Project Server 2010, 2013 and Project Online PWA.

Today I am writing about “How to bulk create projects in Project Server 2010, 2013 and Project Online PWA”. There are cases when it is necessary to create a substantial number of projects in a Project Online PWA.
This can be done manually or using PowerShell script as well we have some of tools with the help  those tools we can create bulk Projects in project server, like Fluent Book, which can help a user to bulk create projects in Project Online PWA .
Below are the sum of URL for PowerShell to use for creating Projects in bulk:
So below are the steps to create Projects manually step by step with screenshots:
  • Login to the site page like for PWA site, for Project online or on-premises with authorized user account and password.
  • Once login to the page, we need to create a custom list on PWA site page using site contents add an App.
  • To the same Click on the gearbox of site setting page and click on the same and select Add an App, then site contents page will appear.
  • Then here click on Custom List option and assign the name and click on create.
  • Wait for the sometime and your list will be created

  • Now Open the List and add appropriate fields Like Name (will be default as title change to project Name) Start date, end Date etc.
  • Once it will be created export the excel sheet data to the created List like click on edit and copy and paste the same List and stop editing. See below:

  • Once all done, select Item page ribbon from the top of List page and here we can see create Project option will be available, default it will be showing us grayed out we need to select items from the list then it will enable automatically.

  • Once click on Create Projects it will create new wizard with some of options. See below:

  • Here we need to Map the Project Map fields which we have created here.
  • Here we can select EPT Type as well if we have created many other EPT we can select the same and can created as per excepted.
  • Hope All are aware with EPT and uses for the same, we can created some additional settings from the option as available in create Project web app.
  • Once all done click on create button and wait for some time.
NOTE: But Make sure Fields and Project Name should not be duplicated or else it will Prompt us below error screen shots:

  • Now go back to Project center page and verified All selected Project in the list is created.

  • Once open any of Project it will show the all details same as below:

Please let us know if any more details need.
